This is NOT the whole updated forecast package. That will be later tonight...
Just wanted to give you a quick update on the potential for a storm early next week. There has been lots of talk of this one being the "Big One" for the Ohio Valley. However, we are still several days away from the actual event and models are going to do their usual flip flop with track/intensity/precipitation types. What I will say is MANY computer models have a storm and that is what has got me excited.
Here are just three solutions the storm may take early next week...
-Great Lakes Cutter...Mainly rain here with snow well to our north.
-Ohio Valley Storm: Low tracks across Southern Kentucky then into Eastern Kentucky. This would bring several inches of snow across our area.
-Supressed Storm: The Storm is supressed to the south with the main moisture field across the Southern states. Some snow, but not very much in terms of accumulation.
As you can see their are still several options and probably more than just 3. I will have a more in depth update later this evening. The evening post will be out around 10 o'clock! STAY TUNED!
